What happened to Utah? Arizona? California?
Due to the insane price of gas, we’ve decided it would cost way too much to do a trip across the USA for our honeymoon. In total, we were looking at between 5,000 and 6,000 miles. Add in the cost of a rental car from Utah to California, and back thru the South, to Baltimore, as well as a airfare one way, we had already reached the $3,500 mark.
We’ve decided to do some driving, but stick primarily to the east coast. We’ll be leaving from Baltimore, headed to Key West, Florida. We expect to reach our destination within 36 hours. We’ll enjoy the island for 7 days, then head North-West, to Williamstown, KY to visit with relatives on Williamstown Lake…. then head back home. All in all, an almost two week excursion.
